MATERIALS AND TOOLS
Yarn:

main color for the rabbit – any yarn moderately fluffy to see the stitches. I recommend that you use yarn 500-600m/100g (I used 50 g). Information about yarn weight can be found here
dark color for the top hat and the tail-coat – any yarn that crochet to the same gauge as your main color yarn.
Crochet hook. I used 1.5 mm (approximately US steel hook 8, UK steel hook 4 ½).
Fishing line for the whiskers.
A piece of pink or red polymer clay for the nose.
A piece of white polymer clay for the teeth and the whites of the eyes.
Two black (red, or brown) half beads for the pupils of the eyes (I used 5 mm in diameter).
Single core copper electrical wire for the wire frame – I used approximately 200 cm (78.7 inches) of wire 1 mm in diameter.
Tapestry needle.
Strong thread for needle sculpting.
Stuffing.
Transparent glue.
Any material for tinting (oil pastels, acrylic paints, etc.) – dark grey and pink colors.
Velcro or brush to brush up the toy (optional).
Lace for the collar (I used 60 cm/23.6 inches).
Fabric tape.

Das war mein erstes Projekt von Littleowlshut und ich habe mich zuerst ein wenig vor der Anleitung gefürchtet, zudem auch noch in englisch! Anfangs hatte ich etwas Schwierigkeiten mit dem Verschieben des Markers, deshalb ist der Kopf nicht 100% symmetrisch, und das Häkeln auf Drahtarmatur ist bei den dünneren Teilen wie Arme, Beine und Ohren etwas kniffelig, aber mit dem Ergebnis bin ich total zufrieden. War letztlich einfacher als gedacht, ich konnte fast nicht aufhören mit häkeln, weil ich so auf das Ergebnis gespannt war. Ich habe mit weissem Kid Mohair und Nadel 1,75 gehäkelt, Augen und Nase wurden mit lufttrocknendem Fimo-Light modelliert, und das Kaninchen ist superschön geworden. Die Anleitung ist sehr detailliert und gut beschrieben. Inzwischen habe ich schon mit dem grauen Wolf angefangen. Rezession folgt.
