If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 200y/3.5 oz (90m/50g) and a hook size 3, the ice cream will get nearly original size (13-15 cm long). Additional you need some filling material and wooden popsicle sticks.
This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. Even so it is suitable for beginners. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, crochet in continuous rounds (crochet terms in British English!).
