If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of about 280y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 2.5, the letters will become approx. 4 cm high, the width is varying.
This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. As only chain stitches and double crochets are used, it is well suited for beginners (crochet terms in British English!). The tutorial is not suitable for left-handers!
