Patchwork cushion cover. Combined knitting and crochet tutorial pattern instant download -- Olga Andrew Designs Pattern 006.

A knitted and crocheted patchwork cushion is an excellent home accessory and a wonderful gift for any occasion.

This is a step-by-step tutorial for cushion which have been hand knitted and crocheted. The pattern includes detailed photos with instructions how to make it -- useful for beginners. This pattern uses only basic stitches, so beginners should have no problem with it. It is written in English using Standard US crochet and knitting terminology (with UK crochet terminology equals if necessary).

The pattern can be made up with any yarn that you have to create your very own cushion. Variations and experimentations are unlimited!

Skill level: easy (you only need basic knitting and crochet skills).

Materials you will need:
1) crochet yarn (I used Premium Acrylic DK yarn) yellow (approx. 50g), dark blue (approx. 50g), snow-white (126g). Total weight of cushion cover is 226g. 2) tapestry needles 3.5mm; 3) crochet hook (I used hook size H8/5mm); 4) 3 buttons.

This pattern is for a cushion measuring approximately 45 cm (about 18 inches) square.
The size of the cushion cover will vary depending on the type of yarn, hook and needle size and how tightly you knit or crochet.

Kind regards, Olga Andrew Designs ©

    ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
I'm making 8 of these seat cushions as a wedding gift for a sunflower lover. Easy to understand and sizing is easily adaptable without extreme knowledge or experience.

    simple but beautiful.
I have been looking for years for a simple circular baby blanket/shawl pattern and this one fits the bill nicely. Easy to make it comes up really pretty especially if you use a varigated mix yarn. I used a blue/white/pink mix which turned out nicely and was suitable for boy or girl (mum didn't want to know the sex beforehand) and I embellished it with pink white and blue flowers. One pattern I think may be used quite often
