How to measure head circumference:

You need to measure your head exactly where your beanie will sit. Place the string or tape measure around your head about 1/4 inches (0,5 cm) above your ear, completely circling your head.

If you have a little sewing experience then 1 yard (0,95 meter) of 58-60 inches (1,5 meter) wide jersey fabric is a best choice for you, because suitable for both large and small sizes.

You can also use stretch velvet knit fabric, polar (or wintry) fleece fabric or t-shirt jersey knit fabric. You can also use old plus size wool sweater, velvet sweater, fleece sweater or t-shirt as your fabric.
