winter beanie with lining & cuff sewing pattern

Easy and simple beanie sewing pattern for beginners. This thick jersey beanie with soft jersey lining keeps your head really warm on cold days, in the wind and snow.

20 7/8 inches (53 cm) size;

How to measure head circumference:

You need to measure your head exactly where your beanie will sit. Place the string or tape measure around your head about 1/4 inches (0,5 cm) above your ear, completely circling your head.

All patterns with seam allowances.

All patterns can be printed on both A4 size paper and US Letter size paper.

US Letter: 8.5 x 11.0 inches (21,6 x 27,9 cm);
A4: 8.3 x 11.7 inches (21,0 x 29,7 cm)

All measurements in patterns and tutorial are in both inches ('') and centimeters (cm).

You need:

1/2 yard (0,50 meter) of 58 – 60 inches (1,5 meter) wide thick jersey fabric for beanie, suitable for both large and small sizes.

3/8 yard (0,35 meter) of 58 – 60 inches (1,5 meter) wide soft thin jersey fabric for lining, suitable for both large and small sizes.

You can also use stretch velvet knit fabric or polar (or wintry) fleece fabric for beanie. You can also use old plus size wool sweater, velvet sweater or fleece sweater as your fabric.
