“Josie” is a very easy-to-knit top down sweater with a circular yoke and two different stripe patterns. It’s the perfect pattern for beginners, but even intermediate knitter will love the easy and fast way to work a warm and cosy winter sweater.

Bust circumference of finished sweater: 37”, 41”, 45”, 49” and 53” (95, 105, 115, 125 und 135 cm)
Total length of finished sweater: 22”, 23”, 23.5”,24”, 25” (56, 58, 60, 62, 63 cm) - but it’s very easy to adapt length

Materials
depending on size 870 - 2500 yds of Aran weight yarn in 4 different colors (I used Schoppel „In Silk” in light grey, navy, petrol and wine red, yardage 219 yds/100g) - total yardage divided by four for each color
US 7 and 8 (4,5 and 5,0 mm) circular needles (or any size to obtain gauge) in different lengths
2 stitch markers
2 stitch holders

Gauge
16 sts and 28 rows in stockinette stitch with bigger needles = 4”
