Crocheted with Sport weight yarn, a standard LED tealight fits under the Snowmen’s hats.
If you use heavier yarn, the Snowmen will be bigger, so you can also use LED fairy lights.

This pattern contains 11 pages of crochet instructions and 9 additional pages of detailed step-by-step instructions.
Used techniques (US crochet terms): magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, changing yarn-color, crocheting in the back loops and front loops, increases, (invisible) decreases.
The Snowmen are crocheted in continuous rounds/spirals as well as back and forth in rows.

Size Information
With 2.0 & 3.0 mm hooks and Sport weight yarn the Snowmen get to be 13 x 6 cm, 12 x 6 cm and 11 x 6 cm big (height x width).
You need it smaller or bigger? No problem! Simply use lighter or heavier yarn.
A standard sized LED tealight won’t fit then anymore though.

stitch-markers (e.g. pieces of scrapyarn)
scissors
stuffing
optional: 1 fork with four prongs to make the pom-poms; alternatively you can use premaid pom-poms (ca. 2.5 cm in diameter)
1 standard sized LED tealight per Snowman (ca. 3.8 cm in diameter, 1.9 cm in height) or LED fairy lights for bigger Snowmen
amount of Sport weight yarn
1 g orange for the nose
12 g for the hat
4 - 5 g per scarf
2 g per pom-pom
7 g per tealight space (Snowmen’s upper part)
20 g white for the big Snowman
18 g for the medium Snowman
16 g for the small Snowman
