White or ivory scrap yarn (any fiber/weight) for the dots (or substitute with needle felt, dimensional fabric paint, beads, or sequins).
Clear Fishing Line (Optional): Carried between stitches for extra structure and reinforcement. I used Trilene Big Game 4.5 (0.35 mm) because my yarn was a bit softer than I wanted, but if your yarn naturally holds its shape well, you can skip this!
