This is the pattern to crochet and color the birch leaf. You can make many and use them as parts of a wall hanging, wreath, or garland; attach them to a frame; apply them to greeting cards or anywhere else that you want.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive
The file includes 18 pages with written pattern (in English, using standard US terms), chart diagrams and a lot of photo instructions that will show you how to make them.
Each leaf will take you about 30 minutes to 1 hour to make.
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Skill required: You should already know basic crochet stitches like ch, sc, hdc, dc, tr, sl-st, increase, decrease.
Step-by-step photos are provided for some special techniques used, including BLO, FLO, double chain.
Size Information
The leaf, using recommended material, measures 6 x 5.5 cm. This pattern also works for other yarn/ thread weight. The final sizes depend on the yarn/thread and the crochet hook that you use.

HOOK:
Steel crochet hook 1.0 mm • US size 12
YARN/ THREAD: 100% cotton crochet thread #10.
This pattern also work for different weight threads. You can also crochet with other 100% cotton thread/ yarn and a suitable hook to make larger or smaller leaves.
In this pattern, I crocheted the leaves in yellow thread and colored them using fabric paint. The coloring process is optional but it may make your leaves look more beautiful.
Optional: liquid water-based fabric paints, coloring tools (brushes, water container, coloring palette, towel, tissue paper…), fabric stiffener
