**This Tunisian crochet poncho in shell stitch is a wonderfully lightweight garment for summer and late summer. The decorative shell pattern gives it an airy and elegant texture, while the fringe adds a beautiful finishing touch.
The poncho is made from just two panels, which are then joined together. The pattern is suitable for Intermediate crocheters who are already familiar with the basics of Tunisian crochet.
For my version, I chose a white/cream shade and a bamboo-cotton yarn. This gives the poncho a soft and flowing drape and makes it lovely to wear even on warmer days – at the beach, over a summer dress, or simply with jeans and a top.
Of course, the shell pattern also looks beautiful in many other colours, so you can easily create your own individual version.**

This pattern does not use standard clothing sizes (S, M, L, XL or 38/40/42 …). Instead, the correct size is determined individually based on your gauge swatch and the measurement tables included in the pattern. This way, you can adjust the tank top precisely to your own body measurements.
This poncho measures approximately 80 cm in length and 55 cm in width.
For my sample (height approx. 1.50 m), I used 8 balls of Bambou-Cotton. The actual yardage required may vary depending on your size and desired length. Detailed information is provided in the measurement tables included in the pattern.
For the Poncho:
8 balls of Bamboo-Cotton, 125 m / 50 g ex: myboshi
Tunisian crochet hook 6 mm with 60 cm cable
*Tape measure, stitch marker, scissors, wool needle
For the Fringe:
*50 m / 20 g from same yarn
