This light and airy yet textured and warm triangular shawl is made from a perfect blend of feather-light tweedy woollen yarn, worked in a garter stitch base pattern. It has a simple lace pattern at regular intervals and is reversible.
The shawl is knitted in one piece from the side. With one exception, increases and decreases are worked at the start of the right-side rows.
Perfect for beginners, those returning to knitting, and for knitters on the go.
Pattern instructions for two sizes.
Techniques
Cast on and bind off stitches

Knit through back loop
Increase: Yarn over
Decrease: Knit two stitches together, knit two stitches together through back loop
The pattern is suitable for beginners. It consists of three pages. Photos, a list of materials and a list of abbreviations with descriptions of individual stitch types are included. The pattern directions are written out and not very long, as the steps are repetitive (no charts). The project is therefore suitable for beginners.

Wingspan larger size approx. 79” / 201 cm
smaller size approx. 69“ / 175 cm
Depth at tip larger size approx. 16“ / 40 cm
smaller size approx. 14“ / 35 cm
Size, yardage and feel of the finished scarf may vary depending on the yarn used and the gauge.
Gauge (after blocking)
Appr. 25 sts x 38 rows = 4 x 4 “/10 x 10 cm

Yardage larger size: approx. 656 yds / 600 m
Yardage smaller size: approx. 525 yds / 480 m
BC Garn Loch Lomond Lace GOTS, 100% Wool, Non-Superwash (328 yds / 300 m per 50 g).
It is a woollen yarn with an airy structure in tweed optic.

Circular needle at least 20” / 50 cm or longer
Size US 3 / 3,25 mm / UK 10
