Create your own adorable dachshund with this detailed crochet pattern PDF.
This charming amigurumi dog captures all the features that make dachshunds so lovable: a long muzzle, soft floppy ears, expressive eyes, a low-slung body, short legs, an energetic tail, and a bright collar that adds extra personality.
The head, muzzle, and nose are crocheted as one continuous piece, so there is no separate muzzle to sew on and no nose embroidery required. Just a few simple stitches create the mouth and bring this little dog to life.
The pattern includes:
Detailed step-by-step instructions
Process photos
Two eye options: plastic eyes or embroidered eyes
Easy ear construction and attachment
Clear assembly guidance
Designed to be enjoyable for confident beginners and experienced crocheters alike, this project combines simple construction with an expressive result.
Perfect for:
Dachshund lovers
Dog lovers
Amigurumi collectors
Handmade gifts
Nursery and home décor
Crochet enthusiasts
This dachshund is full of character, from its long body and short legs to its sweet expression and wag-ready tail.
Skills required: basic crocheting skills for amigurumi (crocheting in spiral, magic ring, single crochet stitch, increasing and decreasing) and basic sewing skills.
