The finished size of this design depends not only on the graph size but also on the stitch of choice, hook size, yarn thickness, and other factors.

For this pattern, my tester Monique van der Veeken used a 4,5 mm hook (US = 7, UK = 7) and the measurements with the recommended yarn (Zeeman Royal) were** 155 cm (61,0236”) in width and 155 cm (61,0236”) in height without of border, ideal measurements for a Double Bed Blanket size.

Another of my testers, Jolene Midlane, used a 4mm hook, Paintbox Simply DK yarn in colour 105 (grey) for the dark rows (9 balls = 2848 meters / 2718 yards). The same yarn but in colour 150 pink for the light rows (10 balls = 2760 meters / 3020 yards). The blanket, with these specifications, measured 147.32 centimetres / 58 inches wide and 165.1 centimetres / 65 inches high.
