With this knitting pattern you can create a relaxed oversized sweater made from a soft combination of merino wool and alpaca bouclé, giving the sweater its distinctive teddy texture. The brown base color with white stripes creates a timeless, cozy look that pairs perfectly with jeans, leggings, or skirts.
The sweater is knitted with a loose and comfortable fit, making it ideal for anyone who wants to create a modern, handmade garment.
The pattern is easy to follow, includes many step-by-step photos and helpful tips, and is therefore suitable for beginners with some basic knitting experience.
Construction Overview
The sweater is worked holding both yarns together, knitted bottom-up in stockinette stitch on 7 mm circular needles. It is first knitted in the round, and from the armholes onward the front and back pieces are worked separately in rows. This is followed by the neckline and the two sleeves. Afterwards, the individual pieces are blocked and sewn together.
