Happy Easter Shawl is a lovely spring shawl, which is also light and airy enough to wear in summer.
it is easy to memorize the pattern, thus making the shawl a fast knit. It is also suitable for beginners. The pattern contains examples for two sizes.
This shawl can be easily modified as well, for example only knit the pattern in the center and end with either a straight or the lace edging. You can knit more or less repeats of the lace pattern and knit the shawl in any desired size.
You will find a workshop for that in the pattern.

Size 1: 200 g gradient yarn cake 4-ply (375 m/100 g)
or 100 g lace yarn (600 m/100 g), circular needles 4 mm (US6), 1 stitch marker
Size 2: 150 g Ullcentrum 2-ply wool yarn, (300m/100g,) Summer Hayfield, circular needles 6 mm (US10), 1 stitch marker
Or: any other desired yarn, for example selfspun yarn, that would normally be knit with needle size 3 to 4 mm (US2½ to 6), about 500 to 600 m yardage
