Crochet Pattern Evie Springtime Beetle & Butterfly PDF

Product description

Hey there!
You will receive a PDF file.
This is only the instructions and NOT the FINISHED PRODUCT.

The 12 pages describe in detail how to crochet the charming spring beetle/ butterfly Evie step by step.

The little beetle/ butterfly is quick to crochet and brings a lot of joy with its cute appearance.
The colour combinations are endless, leftover wool can be used up perfectly and you are sure to love the result!

The body is mostly worked in one piece. The arms are crocheted as you go along and the antennae are crocheted on. The wings and hairband are sewn on.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The instructions are suitable for beginners.
However, I recommend embroidering the eyes. If safety eyes are used, the arms must be adjusted accordingly. I have explained this as best I can in the instructions. However, this may be a little difficult for beginners.

Please note: The instructions do not explain how to embroider the amigurumi. You can find good videos on YouTube showing how to embroider flowers, for example!
You will need:

  • Magic ring
  • Single crochet stitches
  • Chain stitches
  • Slipstitches
  • Half double crochet stitches
  • Double crochet stitches
  • treble crochet
  • turning chain

The instructions include lots of photos explaining each step. If you still have questions, I'm happy to help!

Size Information

The finished beetle/ butterfly is approx. 9 cm tall when using 50 g/125 m wool. When using 100 g/110 m chenille wool, it is approx. 14 cm tall.

Materials List

I recommend embroidering the eyes. Otherwise, you will need 6 mm or 10 mm safety eyes.

You will also need:

  • Crochet hook, 2.5 or 3.5 mm
  • Fiberfill
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
  • Black/white yarn for the details
