Crocheting this big Mexican Beauty application is relatively easy and is therefore also suitable for experienced beginners.
Basic knowledge of crochet (chain stitch, single crochet, half, double, double treble crochet, increases) is required.

A complete finished application is about 20 centimeters high and about 16 centimeters wide.

• wool/yarn/scraps of mercerized cotton such as CATANIA/Schachenmayr, Capri/Katia
  In special, you will need the following colors:

  • Beige/natural/apricot as skin color for the face
  • Black/anthracite/dark brown for hair, brows, eyes
  • Red/pink for lips
  • Green for leaves
  • Other colors as desired for flowers and earrings
  • optional for open eyes: Catania Fine in white, dark brown, gray or similar and crochet hook 2 mm

• Crochet hook 2.5 mm or 3 mm
  I have always used needle 2.5 hook here. For a bigger result the application can
  also be crocheted with a 3 mm hook.

• Darning needle and a stitch marker (alternatively you can use a
  contrasting colored wool thread)
