Add a cozy, handmade charm to your home with this crochet candle holder – perfect for beginners! Whether you want to create a warm atmosphere or craft a thoughtful handmade gift, this simple pattern is a great way to start.
No experience? No problem! I’ve got you covered with a step-by-step video tutorial to guide you from the very first loop.
Suitable for beginners. The tutorial includes a step-by-step crochet description with diagrams. Inside the file, there is a link to a video tutorial. The video shows the complete process of crocheting. You can download the video and follow the pattern with more confidence.
Recommendation: You can also starch your knitted product. I do this using PVA universal glue: mix the glue with water in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. Dip the product into the solution or apply it with a brush, shape it, and let it dry.
Note: Please use this product with candles carefully. I would like to point out that a starched candle holder is much more resistant to catching fire than regular yarn. If you have children, it is recommended to use LED tealights.
The finished crocheted candle holder measures approximately 5 cm (1.97 in) in diameter and 6 cm (2.36 in) in height.
*The size of the product depends on the thickness of the yarnand the hook you choose.
Required materials for crocheting:
• crochet hook 1.7 mm
• cotton yarn (I use yarn “Lana Grossa Cotone”, 50g 125m, approximately 20 m of yarn is needed for this candle holder
• scissors
• IKEA Tealight holder Galej (364.180.00)
*You can choose any glass candle holder and adjust the pattern to fit the size you need.
*By purchasing the instructions, you agree to the following condition: These instructions are for personal use only.
You can download the pattern immediately after receipt of payment.
