Leaf Teething Ring Sewing Pattern: DIY Guide with Crinkle Plastic

Product description

Teething rings were one of my first projects when I started sewing toys for babies. The idea came to me when my daughter was still little, and I wanted to create something practical and beautiful for her. The leaf-shaped teething ring is tied around a wooden ring and is not only simple but also quick to sew – perfect as a small gift for a newborn.

The two-tone design combined with crinkle plastic makes the teething ring particularly exciting for babies. The leaf shape is easy to grasp, and the wooden ring provides a safe way for teething babies to chew on it. This project is excellent for beginners, as it’s quick to make but still delivers great results.

For a personal touch, you can embroider the child’s name onto the leaf, creating a unique and thoughtful gift. It’s essential to choose only baby-safe materials – these should be OEKO-Tex certified. The wooden ring must also be explicitly labeled as a teething ring to ensure safety.

  • Quick Project: Easy to sew and perfect for beginners.
  • Engaging for Babies: Two-tone design with crinkle plastic and a grippable leaf shape.
  • Customizable: Add an embroidered name for a personal touch.
  • Baby-Safe Materials: Use only OEKO-Tex-certified fabrics and approved wooden rings.
