Elephant siblings - crochet pattern

The siblings Toot and Tootelle Elephant are the big plus in the nursery! They love to be your child's best friends - their big ears are also great for listening - and of course they keep the little and big whispered secrets very well to themselves.

• Chain (ch)
• Turning chain (tch)
• Single crochet (sc)
• slip stitch ( sl st)
• Increase/double crochet (inc)
• Decrease/join stitches (dec)
• everything between { } is repeated as often as stated (e.g. x3)
• Change of direction (CD!)
• Back loop only (BLO) / Front loop only (FLO)
  Work is mainly carried out in spiral rounds

In Sport or Light Worsted yarn (50g/125m) the elephants will be approx. 12“/30 cm, in Super Bulky (100g/120m) chenille approx. 24“/60 cm tall.

For small cotton version:

• Crochet hook size 2.5
• Yarn with 50g/125m (e.g. Sport or Light Worsted)
• Filling cotton, 2 amigurumi eyes with a diameter of 5 mm.

For lange chenille version:

• Crochet hook size 5
• Chenille yarn with 100g/120m (Super Bulky)
• Filling cotton, 2 amigurumi eyes with a diameter of 18 mm.

Colors of yarn required:

• For Toot : Brown, blue, red, gray, pink, a bit of white for the eyes and a little scrap of black for the mouthand the X on the trunk
• For Tootelle: White (more than 1 skein), gray (more than 1 skein), pink, apricot, light green and a little scrap of black for the mouth and the X on the trunk
