For my crocheted garments, I use between 1000 - 1500 meters of yarn, depending on the type of clothing, due to my small height of 1,50 m.

If you're making garments like my ponchos, you can refer to my empirical table, based on customer feedback, to estimate the amount of yarn needed depending on the size and desired style.

• Two cakes 50% cotton, 50 % acrylic, each 1250 meters - 250 g - 3 threads yarn (thickness). I worked with two cakes of 3 threads in parallel to get a thickness equivalent to 6 threads.
• Hook size 5 mm
• Stitch markers, scissor and a yarn needle

You can uses similar yarns, but make sur to create a gauge swatch with the hook recommended for your chosen yarn.
