This pattern does not include a basic crochet course. You need to know how to crochet chains, single crochets, half double crochets, double crochets and slip stitches.
Special techniques, that are used in this pattern, will be explained in greater detail and with many pictures. These techniques include the standing double crochet (video), working into the back loop only, front and back post double crochets and how to make a crochet cord.

The crochet dress is made-to-measure and therefore fits all sizes and body types.

cotton yarn (fingering weight, e. g. 170m/50g, but you can use any type of yarn, which may of course affect the required amount; the pictured dress is for a hip circumference of 102cm and a body height of 162cm and it used approx. 1150g of yarn) elastic band in your yarn color (for the waistband)
satin string (for the binding in the back and for the neckholder part)
crochet hook 2,5mm (for the waistband and top part)
crochet hook 3,5mm (for first round of skirt part)
crochet hook 5,0mm (for the skirt part) needle to sew in the ends
