Crochet pattern teething ring with ears

A wooden ring is well suitable for babies not only for teething. It can be used for various activities as grasping, feeling and watching to train motor activity and sensory abilities. This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: magic ring, chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, crochet in rows and rounds, sewing (crochet terms in British English!).

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of about 280y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 3, the crochet tube will fit for 12 mm wide wooden rings with an outside diameter of 70 mm.
