This is a buttoned foldable cowl and a little bit collar and a pattern that keeps you very warmly. This pattern is knit from the bottom up and designed the way it fastens or unfastens with buttons.
Several ways shoulder comfy or cowl can be with buttons in front for different looks as seen on photo. This is great because when you close the buttons, it sits close enough to your neck so the wind can't get in and make you cold.
