Size Information

The imp wreath has a diameter of 25 cm, 9,843 inch.

Materials List

Cotton yarn for needle size 2,5 – 4. Length 50 gr: 125m 1.75 oz: 137 yrd – DK, light worsted #3.

I prefer Catania by Schachenmayr. You can get to shop online in the USA and UK and all over the world. But you can use every yarn that you like.

You also need lint wool / tinsel wool, for example brazilia from Schachenmayr

Crochet hook:

  • German 2,0mm and 2,5mm
  • US B/1 and C
  • UK 14 and 11

The following basic materials are still needed:

  • Styrofoam ring, 25 cm / 9,843 inch in diameter
  • 4 electric tea lights
  • Sewing thread in white
  • Hot glue gun
  • Animal hair brush for brushing the tinsel wool
  • Blush & Brush
  • Toy stuffing, filling cotton
  • Scissor
  • Sewing & Pin needle

Der Kranz ist wunderschön und die Anleitung ist super. Sie ist sehr ausführlich und leicht verständlich erklärt und mit vielen Bildern. Es hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht, den Wichtelkranz zu häkeln.

Ein tolles Ergebnis
Habe den Kranz gehäkelt und mit LED Lichtern an einen Verwandten verschenkt der altersbedingt in einem Heim wohnt in dem echte Kerzen gar nicht gehen. Und auch echte Pflanzen mit den Nadeln und allem was man danach entsorgen muss eine relativ große Schweinerei anrichten. Die Freude war sehr groß. Ein wenig Licht in der dunklen Jahreszeit.

Super süße Anleitung ging ganz locker von der Hand und super verständliche Anleitung hatte keine Probleme. Vor ein paar Jahren habe ich die Wichtel gemacht. Alles prima. Gestern wollte ich sie aufstellen, keine Wichtel zu finden. Meine Tochter, hat sie geklaut. Weil sie ja sooooo niedlich sind.
