Easy His and Hers hat "Cable stitch"

This instruction is for an easy hat with cable stitch.
The hat can be worn by men as well as by women.
For men, a thicker wool should be used, this way the hat will be bigger than the one with thinner wool for women.
You will need approx. 1 day (2 evenings) to knit this hat.
You can either knit or knock the hat.
It is nice and comfortable to wear because of its elastic edge around the head.

You will need to know:

• how to cast on stitches
• plain stitches
• purl stitches
• increase stitches
• decrease stitches
• cable stitches
