Baby bat crochet pattern

Create your own cute baby bat using this pattern.

sc – single crochet
ss – slip stitch
dc – double crochet st(s) – stitch(-es)
inc – 1 increase = 2sc in the same st
dec – 1 decrease = 2sc together

\Level: intermediate.

Using a 2.25mm (size B) crochet hook, the bat is approximately 14 cm (5 ½ inches) with ears.

A pumpkin is not included in the pattern.

1. Yarn: This example was crocheted with:
   • cotton yarn YarnArt Jeans (50g = 180yards / 165m, Sport, 12wpi) color 72 (purple) – for head, muzzle, body, legs, wings and ears, color 74 (light pink) – for legs, wings and ears.
2. Crochet hook: 2.25 mm (size B), or in accordance with the yarn you use.
3. One pair of black safety eyes 7 mm.
4. A little piece of a different color yarn or stitch marker (I use first one).
5. Fiber filling.
6. Black cotton thread.
7. Thick needle.
8. Scissors, pins.
9. Pink wax pencil (optional).
