Spring Gnome Doorstop

Who hasn't always wanted a gnome in their house, and if it can also stop doors from slamming, what more could you want? This pattern includes the basic pattern for the doorstop ball and the supplementary pattern for the spring gnome, whose hat is covered in flowers. Both are crocheted with cotton yarn (125m~50g.) and a 3mm needle. The entire doorstop is about 40cm tall, depending on the yarn used, needle size and crochet strength, and weighs about 1400g.

The instructions correspond to a medium level of difficulty and contain a richly illustrated step-by-step guide to filling the ball and completing the flowers. With a 3mm needle and cotton yarn (125m~50g.) the ball reaches a diameter of about 15cm and the pointed hat a length of about 30cm. The total height is about 38cm. This can vary depending on the yarn, needle size and firmness.
