The jumper is knitted in rounds from top to bottom.
The elastic rib pattern on the back and sleeves means it "grows" with the child for a long time.
The instructions consist of charts AND are written out stitch by stitch. So you can decide for yourself what you prefer to knit.
The pattern is not complicated, but you should already be familiar with knitting lace patterns.
The instructions are written in detail for children from 4-16 years (104cm to 176cm). You don't have to calculate anything yourself.
I used „Baby Soft Printed“ colour 12 by Ferner Wolle (100g = 270m, 50% Cotton / 50% Soja) and knitted with circular knitting needles 3,5mm 40cm long. You need for size 104-122cm
2 balls, for size 128-146cm 3 balls and for size 152-176cm 4-5 balls. You also need double pointed needles 3,5mm and 4 mesh markers.
