Foot warmer with hot water bottle insert – Tutorial & Sewing Pattern

Do you always get cold feet? Then I have the solution for you: a foot warmer with an extra insert for a hot water bottle. The foot warmer is particularly practical in the cold season to put an end to cold feet in the home office or on the sofa and you can easily slip in and out of it. To keep the warmth completely on your feet, you can optionally sew in a drawstring to tighten it.

The foot warmer is sewn from sturdy decorative fabric. For the inner lining, I recommend a soft, fluffy fabric, such as teddy plush fabric or fleece. However, you can also work with scraps of fabric, such as an old towel that is still fluffy. The foot warmer is reinforced with foam stabilizer to ensure it stands up well.

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to sew a foot warmer with an insert for a hot water bottle. You will find all the pieces you need in the pattern files.
