Crochet pattern for a sitting Australian Shepherd amigurumi dog

With this pattern you crochet your own Australian Shepherd as a sitting amigurumi figure. What makes it special is the realistic fur texture created by needle felting, plus a face shaped individually with needle and thread.

You should already have basic amigurumi crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, increases and decreases, plus color changes within a round. Two special techniques are explained in addition: shaping the face with needle and thread, and needle felting the fur texture with wool roving.
