Create your own gorgeous ballerina Greyhound with this detailed crochet pattern PDF.
This graceful amigurumi dog combines the charm of a sighthound with the softness and romance of ballet. Long legs, expressive ears, delicate embroidered eyes, and a fluffy ballet tutu give this character a gentle and emotional personality.
The pattern is designed to be enjoyable and easy to follow. The head and nose are crocheted as one continuous piece, so there is no separate muzzle to sew on. Just a few simple stitches create a beautiful expressive face.
Just look at this graceful Levretka in a soft pink dress and with a black choker! This is not just a crochet dog — it’s a little ballerina with personality and charm.
Skill level: upper beginner (the crochet pattern doesn't contain lessons on crocheting). Skills required: crocheting in spiral, magic ring, chain, single crochet stitch, increasing and decreasing, basic sewing skills.
The Crochet Pattern (pdf file) is in English (US terms), very detailed, very clear instructions and tips with lots of photos for each step.
Size - about 30 cm/12 inch tall, I used a yarn of ~174 yards/160 m = 1,76 oz/50 g and a 2,5 mm crochet hook.
(but the dog can be made of different types of yarn, but it is important to choose the appropriate ratio of thickness of yarn and hook size)
Materials & Tools - Yarn: I used – YarnArt JEANS 55% Cotton 45%Pac (50g=160m) Colors: beige #07, dark grey #28 , pink #18 - 2,5 mm crochet hook (or according to the yarn) - Polyester fiberfill for stuffing - Yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers or a piece of yarn, pins
