I managed to simplify this cross stitch pattern to 6 colors without losing the variety and the lightness of the impression. The pattern has a size of 300 x 200 stitches. Depending on the fabric type, this corresponds to a size of 15 inch x 10 inch or 38.1 cm x 25.4 cm (AIDA 20ct) to 25 inch x 16.7 inch or 63.5 cm x 42.3 cm (AIDA 12ct)
This cross-stitch pattern is a minimalist reduction to the essentials. Modern, with an asollene minimum of colors and shapes, the silhette of mountains and hills is shaped with a lot of love. The modern line design underlines the strengths of cross stitching technology.
This is a new technique in cross stitch that uses only one or very few colors to stitch a modern image using an old printing technique that I developed and optimized specifically for cross stitch patterns - monochrome line art.
