Pattern Halloween Ghost II

Crochet pattern to make an adorable Halloween gnome, with a ghost sitting on the hat! The pattern is using American Crochet terms. The pattern can easily be followed also by beginners.

The pattern gives detailed information on:

• used material
• different techniques and stitches
• abbreviations
• detailed instructions how to crochet the different parts (body, hands, nose, hat)
• information how to sew the individual parts together

You will be using following techniches/stitches: magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch, chain stitch, change colors, increase (for this pattern, the invisible increase was used), decrease (the invisible decrease was used), sewing parts together, embroidery (mouth, eyebrows, "scars").

For the body of the gnome you will be using long single crochet stitches, where you crochet into one or two rows beneath the actual row you are workin on. This way, the adorable violet pattern is created: you will not only make a cute Halloween gnome, but also learn a new pattern!!

The finished gnome has a size of ca. 18 cm. Of course, the size can vary a bit if you use different wool or a different hook size.

Used colors: Light Peach, Violet, Lavender, Cast Iron, White, Grey Melange, Light Grey Melange

Needed tools: scissors, crochet hook 2.5 mm, sewing needle, animal hair brush

Other needed material: Polyfill, 2 black teddy eyes (6 mm diameter), thick cardboard, ca 10 cm wire (2 mm diameter), black sewing thread
