The baskets are a combination of single crochet (inner basket) and Doppelmaschen (outer basket). The Doppelmaschen provide the perfect base for embroidery.
You can embroider the cups as shown or you let your imagination run wild - so each basket becomes unique. Of course, you can also vary the colors as you like.
