The size of the finished blanket is about 80x90 cm.

A tunisian crochet hook size 5.5
• A pair of scissors
• A wool needle, if you want to weave in loose threads
• Soft fabric or a cuddly fleece blanket to sew to the back
(at least 10cm wider and longer than the chrochet item)
• Pins or clamps to hold everything together for sewing
• A sewing machine or a sewing needle
• Wool for hook size 3-3.5 mm

How much wool of each colour you really need depends on how tight or loose you crochet and how much slack you leave when colours change. The following numbers are estimates based on my experience to use as a rough guidance.:
