Das Brillenetui wird von unten nach oben in Rd gehäkelt. Es kann auch aus anderem feinem Baumwollgarn gefertigt werden, z. B. Basic Cotton Fine von Pro Lana... Nahezu jeder Garnhersteller hat ein feines Baumwollgarn im Angebot, das sich mit einer Häkelnadel 2,5 mm verarbeiten lässt.
