Crochet Pattern - Lattice Basket

You can always use decorative baskets. You can crochet this one in different sizes - either very small for a few sweets or slightly larger for the bathroom or very large for wool and crochet items. The baskets not only look pretty at Christmas or Easter, but you could also give them away filled.

I have chosen a thicker yarn for my title model, which makes quick work of it. But you can also use other yarns. The design always remains the same. In the instructions, I show you how to crochet the large basket. But I also give you tips on what to consider for other sizes.

The crochet pattern is also very suitable for ambitious beginners, as I show and describe everything exactly and step by step on 25 pages.

We crochet chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochets, double crochets, treble crochets and relief stitches.

The large basket is 31 cm in diameter and 19 cm high (without handle). You can make it in different sizes.

Material for the large basket (31 cm diameter, 19 cm high (measured without handle)):

• 300 g "Twister Meran" (LL 100 g/100 meters, 100 % polyacrylic, (=basic color) and
• 120 g "Twister Meran" in another color
• crochet hook size 5.5 or 6
• crochet hook size 4
• darning needle, scissors,
• 1 piece of sturdy cardboard for the base (diameter approx. 35 cm for a large basket)

You will of course need less material for smaller baskets.
