Crochet pattern "Lovely Hippo" by Wunderlichs Kreativchaos
"Lovely Hippo" is a revision of my first pattern "Lovely" The Little Baby Hippo Lady.
Since my instructions have changed a lot over time, I gradually revise the first instructions and change a few things.
These instructions are available in German, Dutch and English in PDF format.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive
This pattern explains step by step how to crochet the hippo. The instructions consist of 23 pages and are provided with many pictures.
You can find a free part in my shop with lots of pictures and tips on how to sew the individual parts correctly.
Difficulty level: medium
make solid
chain stitches
-Spiral laps
half double crochets
-Popcorn stitches (pictorial description in the instructions)
-Increase and decrease in stitches
Size Information
I mainly work with cotton yarn from Carina (comparable to Catania) and with a NS of 2.0. Under these conditions, the Hippo is about 20 cm tall. You can also use any other cotton yarn with a length of 125m at 50gr or your favorite wool. The size can then change.
Materials List
I always give the material as 50 gr, even if only a small one
Amount is needed. You can use other colors as well.
-2 x 50gr light blue
-1 x 50gr white
-1 x 50gr light green
-1 x 50gr yellow
-2 half pearls or safety eyes 10mm
-Filling cotton
-Wire
-Sewing utensils, glue
Round marker
-Crochet hook NS 2.0
You only buy the crochet pattern, but NOT the finished figure.
Selling, exchanging, copying and publishing (including translation into other languages) of the manual (including publication on the Internet) are prohibited.
Selling the finished figure on the internet is prohibited!
Individual figures may, with the prior approval of the author, be sold on markets with the designation of the designer
(No mass production !!!!).
I would like to point out that the sale of the finished figures is subject to certain guidelines (CE marking!) The author assumes no liability in the event of a violation of the EU guidelines.

Die Anleitung ist gut aufgegliedert und beschrieben. Sehr übersichtlich
Gerade die Näharbeiten und andere Arbeitsschritte sind gut beschildert und erklärt.
Ich habe es gerne nach gehäkelt und habe jetzt eine herrliche französische Bulldogge.
Ich würde wieder von diesem Shop eine Anleitung kaufen, klare Empfehlung.

Sehr verständlich erklärt… auch für fortgeschrittene Anfänger gut umsetzbar… besonders die Popcornmaschen sind wirklich klar und nachvollziehbar beschrieben… hat Spaß gemacht und man kommt sicher zum Ziel 😄
Super tolle Anleitung… verständlich geschrieben Anfängerfreundlich … Und wenn man dann doch mal Hilfe braucht, bekommt man diese auch wirklich sofort…..

Hallo, ich habe gerade mit dem Kopf angefangen und hab da mal eine Frage.
in den Reihen 17 und 18 werden an den Seiten jeweils insgesamt 6 Maschen zu genommen die dann in den Reihen 23 bis 25 wieder abgenommen werden.
ich bekomme da 2 dicke Beulen aber in deiner Anleitung sieht der Kopf richtig schön oval aus. kann das daran liegen das ich sehr fest häkele oder mach ich doch irgendwas falsch.
würde mich über eine Antwort freuen
