Amigurumi bird pattern for easter chicken hen.

My Lady-hen - the Rooster's girl-friend. So homelike and broody-like. Such a nice white and blue colors - in the Russian folk tradition.
You can make such a hen by yourself using any other colors you like.

This crochet pattern (27 sheets) contains a step by step description of the work with 85 detailed pictures. Also this pattern contains the basic techniques of crocheting (schemes) for beginner.

Materials (are needed):
1) Acrylic: yarn weight Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi) (400 meters/100 gr), e.g. “Detskaya novinka” by Pehorka – white, blue, bright blue (or any other colors as you like)
2) Acrylic: yarn weight Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi) (450 meters/100 gr), e.g. “Bisernaya” by Pehorka – dark-blue (or any other color as you like)
3) Hook 2,0 mm (main) = US Steel Crochet Hook 4
4) Thin wire (0,8-0,9 mm)
5) Padding polyester, Glue (Glue-gun)
6) Thin plastic or cardboard
7) 2 beads for eyes

The height is 12 cm, the length is 13 cm
