Scrunchie flat Camomile/Daisy crochet pattern 033

Product description

Flat scrunchie or bun holder “Camomile” (“Daisy”). Easy crochet tutorial pattern instant download -- Olga Andrew Designs Pattern 033

A crocheted flat scrunchie “Camomile” is an excellent hair accessory, perfect for holidays, birthday parties or everyday use. Also it could make a wonderful gift for any occasion. It wraps easily around hair and holds securely, can be easily removed and will not damage the hair. It can also be worn around a bun to help to hold the hair in place.

This is a step-by-step tutorial for scrunchies which have been hand crocheted over an elastic non-metal ponytail band. The pattern includes detailed photos with instructions how to make it -- useful for beginners.

This pattern uses only basic stitches, so beginners should have no problem with it. It is written in English using Standard US crochet terminology (with UK crochet terminology if necessary). The pattern can be made up with any yarn, thread and elastic that you have to create your very own scrunchie. Variations and experimentations are unlimited!

Skill level: easy (you only need basic crochet skills).

Materials you will need:
1) crochet yarn (I used Premium Acrylic DK yarn), 2) crochet hook (I used hook size H8/5mm), 3) hair band (I used non-metal large elastic hair band).

The approximate diameter of my crocheted scrunchie is about 13.5 cm (about 5.3.). The size of the scrunchie will vary depending on the hair band size, type of yarn, hook size and how tightly you crochet.

Kind regards, Olga Andrew Designs ©

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
I'm making 8 of these seat cushions as a wedding gift for a sunflower lover. Easy to understand and sizing is easily adaptable without extreme knowledge or experience.

simple but beautiful.
I have been looking for years for a simple circular baby blanket/shawl pattern and this one fits the bill nicely. Easy to make it comes up really pretty especially if you use a varigated mix yarn. I used a blue/white/pink mix which turned out nicely and was suitable for boy or girl (mum didn't want to know the sex beforehand) and I embellished it with pink white and blue flowers. One pattern I think may be used quite often
