Witchy 3-in-1 Cauldron Pouch, Bottle Holder, Trick-or-Treat Basket

Crochet a 3-in-1 Halloween cauldron as a pouch, bottle holder or basket.
Make a small drawstring pouch for yarn scraps and little treats, add the net and straps to turn it into a bottle holder or go big with thick macramé or bulky yarn for a candy basket. The bobble stitch potion top looks wonderful in glow-in-the-dark yarn, which charges up in sunlight and glows in the dark, but any yarn in your favorite potion color works just as well.
A fun project for Halloween decorations, gifts or a spooky yarn stash.

Stitches you will need:
ch - chain
mr - magic ring
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
inc - increase
dec - decrease
FLO - front loop only
BLO - back loop only
bobble stitch (explained in the pattern)

The finished pouch measures about 10 cm, the bottle holder is about 20 cm high and the large basket measures about 17 cm.

• Yarn for the cauldron (pouch and bottle holder): 100% acrylic yarn, light worsted, 50 g / 135 m (1.75 oz / 148 yds), 4.0 mm hook
• Yarn for the cauldron (large basket): thick recycled cotton cord or bulky yarn, e.g. Bobbiny Junior 3 mm, 5.0 or 6.0 mm hook
• Yarn for the potion top: light worsted acrylic yarn in your potion color with a 4.0 mm hook or glow-in-the-dark yarn like Scheepjes “Glow Up” (fingering, 25 g / 52 m) held double with a 4.0 mm hook
• 4.0 mm, 5.0 mm and 6.0 mm crochet hooks (depending on your version)
