With this pattern, you can crochet a lovely giraffe rattle with a wooden ring. ️
The little giraffe is attached directly to the wooden ring, while a rattle insert inside creates the characteristic rattling sound.
The pattern includes detailed instructions and numerous photos to help you follow the individual steps.
Of course, you can change the colors and design to suit your own taste and create your very own little giraffe – perfect as a handmade baby or newborn gift.
Required skills:
You should be comfortable with basic crochet techniques, including chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, increases, and decreases.
Pattern details:
The pattern guides you step by step through making the complete giraffe rattle with a wooden ring. The individual steps are explained in detail and supported by numerous photos. Face shaping and the assembly and attachment of the individual pieces are also shown in detail.
Skill level:
Suitable for advanced beginners to intermediate crocheters. Some experience with amigurumi is helpful, but the individual steps are explained and illustrated in detail.
The finished giraffe rattle is approximately 17.5 cm / 6.9 in tall.
The finished size may vary slightly depending on the yarn, hook size, and your individual crochet tension.

• Yellow No. 403
• Light Green No. 392
• Black No. 110
• White No. 106
• Dark Green No. 412
Scheepjes Catona:
• Light Brown No. 506
• Pink No. 238
You will also need:
• 2.0 mm crochet hook
• 8 mm safety eyes
• fiberfill
• rattle insert
• wooden ring 7 cm
• yarn/tapestry needle
• scissors
• optional fabric glue
