One tiny bee – in two different versions!
You can make either a classic black and yellow bee or a colorful rainbow bee. Both versions are small, quick to make and perfect for a fun little crochet project.
At only about 8–9 cm / 3.1–3.5 in, these little bees are perfect as bag charms, keychains, tiny companions or cute handmade gifts.
They require only a small amount of yarn, making them a great way to use up leftover chenille yarn. The rainbow version is especially fun because you can mix and match whatever colors you have on hand
You should know how to:
make a magic ring
single crochet (sc)
increase (inc)
decrease (dec)
half double crochet (hdc)
slip stitch (sl st)
crochet in continuous rounds
change colors
Using chenille yarn and a suitable crochet hook, the finished bee measures approximately 8–9 cm / 3.1–3.5 in.
The final size may vary depending on your yarn, hook size and individual crochet tension.
You will need:
chenille / plush yarn in different colors
white chenille yarn for the wings
suitable crochet hook
safety eyes
black yarn for embroidering the mouth
fiberfill
stitch marker
scissors
yarn needle
Optional: key ring, lobster clasp or cord if you would like to use your bee as a charm.
Includes two different versions: a classic black and yellow bee and a colorful rainbow bee.
