Crochet pattern Candy Devil Halloween Bowl

Product description

Spookily beautiful and practical too – this skull is a must-have for your next Halloween decoration. What makes this model special is its wide-open lower jaw. That’s because the skull isn’t just for show: Its open mouth has room for small candies, sweets, or other Halloween treats. This makes it a fun eye-catcher on the table, in the entryway, or next to the front door when little ghosts and monsters come knocking for candy on Halloween.
In my Facebook group, you’ll find two short videos of the finished skulls so you can get a better look at them. Of course, you can design your skull however you like—classically spooky, a little crazy, or maybe even surprisingly cute.
For this model, it’s especially important to use the original materials specified in the instructions. With this skull in particular, the size, stiffness, and proportions are crucial for ensuring that the unique shape and the open lower jaw turn out as intended. The plastic ball you use plays a particularly important role here. For the original model, a two-piece plastic ball with a diameter of 12 cm, a cutout of 7.5 cm in diameter, and an upward-shifted cutout was used (Rayher plastic ball, item no. 39477800). If this model becomes unavailable in the future, a plastic ball from another manufacturer can be used, provided the dimensions and design match.
And in case this exact ball or similar ones are no longer available at some point, I’ve got you covered: In the instructions, I’ll show you a little trick you can use to make do if the original model ever sells out or becomes unavailable.
I create my instructions with the utmost care to ensure that crocheting is a joyful experience. However, if you do have any questions about the instructions, I am always happy to help. Before purchasing, you can contact me directly here at Crazypatterns via private message. After your purchase, you will receive additional contact details, such as my email address.
