• The strap: The length can be customized (short/long).
• Real pineapple leaves are stiff and prickly… here, the leaves feature a fun, fluttering design to complement the boho style.

There are many different brands (in the paper yarn/raffia category, as well as varying specifications for weight and length) that can be used to make the bag.

My used yarn: approx 140 – 150 g / 230 – 250 m yardage (4.9 – 5.2oz. / 251.5 – 273.4 yds.)

You need 2 colors for the bag.
I chose natural and green, but of course you can also choose other color combinations that don't necessarily match the color of a pineapple.
Usage for natural: about 2–3 balls (depending on whether you're crocheting an insert bottom)
Usage for green (as a contrasting color): about 1 ball
• Hooks: 4,5 (5) - US 7 (H/8)

Materials for the leaves and the strap:
• Soft beads, such as raw wood or Indian beads.
One larger bead (approx. 18 mm in diameter) to serve as a stopper, as well as smaller beads of your choice to decorate the leaves. Round or teardrop-shaped beads can look nice here.
• Drawstring: you'll also need a thin, running tear-resistant thread + paper yarn

• Optional: for strap and attachment:
1 metal slider, 2 carabiners with eyelets, 2 spring rings in silver or your choice (see the PDF for the dimensions/sizes of the bag accessories)
• Alternative without hanging: sew the strap directly onto the bag
• Optional bag accessories: zipper | lining/fabric
