The style features elastic ribbed cuffs at the neckline and on the short sleeves. In my sample, I combined two different colors for the cuffs, but of course you can sew them in a single color as well.

A subtly flared ruffle is attached at the hem, reminiscent of tennis dresses. The dress is easy to put on without any additional closures — the neckline is slightly widened so it can simply be pulled over the head.

The pattern is drafted in 11 individual sizes: 80, 86, 92, 98, 104, 110, 116, 122, 134, and 140, so you can sew the dress multiple times as your child grows. The German sizes correspond to the child’s height in centimeters.

The sizes are distinguished by different colors in the pattern, making them easy to identify.
Pattern pieces that are larger than standard printer paper are tiled and need to be taped together. This process is also explained in detail.
