Meet the Witch
This enchanting witch doll is ready to cast a little magic in your home. She wears a vibrant orange dress paired with a mysterious black cloak, her long curly light-grey hair streaked with black highlights flowing down her back. Every step is written out in meticulous detail in this crochet tutorial
️Description️
*Skill level: Intermediate
The doll measures 28 cm without the hat, and 35 cm with the witch hat
I used Susan’s Family 4ply 50gr yarn to make.
You can use the other yarn you like (Jean YarnArt, Baby yarn, Catania,…) but the measurement will change (smaller – with baby yarn/catania or bigger – with Jean YarnArt)
• 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3mm crochet hook (with my yarn – Susan’s family 4ply - 50gr/roll). I use 2.00mm hook size for body and outfit, 2.5mm hook size for strands hair, dress and cape
• Sport weight yarn in: Black (1 roll), Dark Orange (1 roll), Skin (1 roll), White (1/3 roll), Light Grey (1 roll), cotton thread yarn 1mm in black and light grey to make small items, dark brown thread to make eyes
• Safety eye/plastic eye 8 mm (for doll)
• Sewing needle, White thread, Stitch marker, pins, pliers, scissors
• Soft wire ~70cm (to make skeleton for legs, arms and neck)
• Fiberfill (200gr)
• Fabric glue/ Hot glue/ Gun Glue, 3 button (3~5mm)
