"Krempeltier" – What does it mean?
A "Krempeltier" is a unique German term that doesn't have a direct translation. It refers to a cuddly toy that can be turned into another cuddly toy through a reversible opening. The design is based on a modular principle, where all the eBooks can be combined with each other, offering endless possibilities for customization.

Pattern Levels:
• Level 1: Suitable for experienced beginners. This level features simpler designs that are easy to follow.
• Level 2: Requires a bit more skill as the appliqués become more intricate and detailed.
• Level 3: Perfect for cuddly toy experts! This level involves more complex designs with many detailed features, making the sewing process more challenging.

For younger children, we recommend combining Level 1 animals with Level 3 'Krempeltier', as mixing two Level 3 animals may make it difficult to turn them inside out.

How It Works:
To create a "Krempeltier", you will need to sew two animals together: one for the outside and one for the inside. Once the animals are sewn, you can turn the cuddly toy inside out through the opening on its underside, swapping the inside animal to the outside and vice versa.
Feel free to mix and match the animals from our pattern collection to create your own custom "Krempeltier"!
